Transition 前進樂團

2005年的3月底前進樂團第一次來台灣前往了春天吶喊，遇見了一個很棒的樂團叫 Green!Eyes。剛好也是那年第一次聽到Tizzy Bac的音樂。從2005到現在，有機會多次跟Green!Eyes還有Tizzy Bac一起表演是我們的榮幸，但更榮幸的是，有機會跟這些人成為朋友。一直都是朋友讓前進樂團跟台灣建立一個改變我們人生的連結。今天聽到許哲毓過世的消息我們很難過。他從那次第一次見面都對我們很好，他真是一個很厲害卻很謙卑的人。我們會很想念他，也會記得他。

Transition are really saddened by the passing of our friend Levon Hsu yesterday. He was one of the first Taiwanese musicians we ever met, a creative thinker, excellent bass player and award winning producer, one of his stand out traits was humility. We had the privilege or performing with Green!Eyes and Tizzy Bac both in Taiwan and in the UK and Levon was a great friend to be around. It was people like him who made Taiwan a special place for Transition and we will always be grateful for that.
The music that Levon contributed to the world will live on, but even more so will the influence he had on friends like us. We will miss you, Levon, may you be at peace as we trust you into God's hands.

Their roots are in Bristol, U.K, but they combine this rock foundation with Asian rhythm and melody, producing music that inspires audiences from both sides of the globe. Transitionʼs three years living and performing in Taiwan had a profound effect on their lives and music, especially their song-writing. Their first mandarin song ʻSorry My Chinese Isnʼt so Goodʼ became an instant youtube hit. It gathered over a million views, and is now an anthem for all foreigners learning Chinese! Another landmark came in 2012 when the band were given the honour of writing the official theme song for the Taiwanese Olympic team for the London 2012 Games - the first ever foreign band to be given this opportunity! Now Transition are releasing their first ever mandarin album, ʻGoing Beyondʼ.
